Couches, tables and chairs that supports the poor, the Recovering and the Christian mission. Get their schedule. Go to Bible study. Find yourself immersed in a warm conversation with new friends. It's a public hang out and a place to find new, healthy friends. Great food. Awesome coffee.
We held our Memorial at Uncommon Grounds. I love this cafe. It has a library upstairs. The artwork is fantastic and its artists are local. The jewelry is handcrafted. The owners, Herb and his wife go out of their way, for EVERYONE. Also, they're friends of mine. And, they're friends to everyone else. Please, stop in for a cup of great coffee or a sandwich. They run on donations and it doesn't matter who you are, everyone is welcome to join the fun at Uncommon Grounds!! One Love!
This place is a diamond in the rough, but there's nothing rough hewn about the friendly welcome. The moment you walk in the door, you feel like you've just put on rose colored glasses. I was there tonight for a private family event. The food and drinks were quite refreshing, there were cool paintings on the walls made by the owner, a very lovely outdoor area for gathering and celebrating, and a whole lot of beautiful smiles. You can feel the hope and determination in there, and not just to serve a great lunch. It's certainly worth a trip if you want to find good food, good company, and good mojo.
I live quite a ways away, but finally got to Uncommon Grounds this past weekend. I will definitely be back ... especially in the warmer weather to enjoy their fab outdoor seating. Great atmosphere, great food, and really friendly folks.
I participated in a concert series here tonight. It was wonderful. We had an attentive audience that was inquisitive and caring. The series promotes the creation of art, so I thought I'd share a poem to capture the essence of what this place inspired within me today. What an awesome place. From the ambience, to the food, and the absolutely incredible staff. The outreach they do in the community is wonderful. I really can't say enough nice things about this place and the folks that run it.
Great coffee house/ cafe. I had a Kabose sandwich that was grilled perfectly and the bread was super fresh. Delicious! Service was very warm and friendly. I’m coming back! ( free wifi) sometime they do live music
A very cozy café with a warm, homely atmosphere. There’s no unnecessary frills here – simplicity and authenticity create a unique charm. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
Today, my husband and I found the most wonderful little breakfast spot filled with incredible people doing incredible things. Food was delicious !!! If you're ever in the Aliquippa area, make sure to check out Uncommon Grounds Cafe. Andrenna is a beautiful soul. We will definitely be back.
